Cycling in Singapore
Singapore is a city with rapidly improving cycling infrastructure and a fantastic cycling culture. By 2030, all towns in Singapore will have a cycling network, consisting of 700km of bike path across the island. Bike theft in Singapore is basically a myth, and with an abundance of bike crossings and parking, you'll find cycling here a pleasant and safe experience.
Singapore offers an abundance of stunning inner-city green spaces as well as plenty of scenic cycling routes in and around the city. Wheel through the European-style streets of the Civic District and explore Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. Getting out of the city, you can also cycle the North Eastern Riverine Loop - a 26km cycle path through the countryside beyond the outskirts of the city. With even more bays, ridges, coastlines, jetties and wide, cycle-friendly roads to explore, no matter what kind of cycling you love, you'll find your cycling Zen in Singapore.
Attractions/sights accessible by bicycle from the city centre:
You can find one of Singapore's longest coastal jetties if you cycle out to Woodlands Waterfront Park, and Admiralty Park and Sembawang Park are also broad, nature-filled expanses accessible by bicycle.
